Florence Remy de Campeau is a contemporary French artist based in Paris, specializing in oil portrait painting.

She trained in Florence, Italy, in order to acquire the basics of drawing and painting, as well as at the Imperial Academy of St. Petersburg in Russia.

She has received numerous prizes and medals, from the Institute of France, the Academic Society of Arts-Sciences-Lettres, the Society of French Artists, and the European Academy of Arts, as well as distinctions abroad in Japan, Russia and America.

With an academic background, the artist works in several layers with specially selected materials to ensure the highest quality for her artworks.

The artist likes to push the limits of realism in a universe unique to each of the characters she paints: highly sought after by a clientele appreciating great art through the centuries, her paintings give back to the art of portraiture its full place in contemporary society.
